I have a DVD-RW and when I insert CDs/DVDs it sits there for a while acting like it's reading it and then it ejects it. It was working fine for a while now and all of the sudden it quit working. It's an LG.

hey there j bauer94,

For simplicity I would check to make sure all your internal connections (IDE cable, molex connector) are secure.
If that isn't the problem, then it sounds to me like you have a bad DVD drive.

Thanks for your time. It actually got fixed before you replied, but I think you were right. My brother put it in my Mom's computer and it detected it as a "Removable drive G" and then he put it back in ours and it read it fine. So you were probably right.
