Hi. I recently obtained a password and log on ID for a website. when I attempted to use it the dialogue box for log in also included a space for Domain?!! I have no idea what this is and the site can't help. Why am I getting this Domain space since all other sites I log in to do not require this. I cannot log in to this site. Thanks for any help!

A domain is a term that can be used in different setups, but the most common ones are:

Domain as in a web site - for example, geekstogo.co.uk is an example of a domain.
Domain as in central server that controls user names, passwords and resources.

Typically a Domain name when you log into a web site is not needed. You may be able to leave it blank.
