Hey Harry, I have removed those programs and some, now I just need to continue to use it to see how it does. I really do appreciate your help, thanks so much.

I had one other question it is about my wireless network adapter. When I view wireless networks it shows unsecure to connect to, and although I am connected I wanted to know how to secure if I forgot the security key for WEP.

The WEP security key is tied to the router and the machine that was the master when you set up the network.
If you do not have the key, no access. I am not an expert in that area, but I believe you might have to start all over again if you don't have the key and password.

Next time you consider buying a used machine, think about purchasing a new copy of the operating system.
It is much easier and more secure to overwrite and reload the OS, although what we are doing is a lot more fun :)

I will monitor this thread, post back in a couple of days and let me know how its working.
