Lately while running a program that plays radio, a message comes up saying "USB bandwidth exceeded" and the audio goes out. I am currently running the HI FI link through my USB port.

Never had problems until recently. What may cause this, and how can I resolve this. if I can?

Just a guess, but maybe it' designed for USB 2.0 and you're running it on a USB 1.0 port. Depending on the signal, sometimes the bandwidth of the 1.0 connection can't keep up. <_<
