Alright..where to begin. I'm not very computer knowledgeable, so please take it easy on me. All I can really tell you about my problem is that, my background has changed to a funky blue and claims some sort of spyware infection has taken place.

To be specific it says in yellow text, Warning: Spyware threat has been detected on your PC; your computer has several fatal errors, etc etc. and at the bottom in yellow it also says CLICK HERE TO SCAN YOUR PC FOR SPYWARE ( i click it and it brings me to - ( http://antispywareup...?aid=496.cbcbcb )

Under my programs list there is something that says - Outerinfo, but when I go to uninstall it says missing shortcut or something ?

Little yellow boxes pop up at the bottom, prompting me all kinds of different things about spyware, infection, scan this scan that.

Also, internet explorer has been popping up a lot randomly, whether theyre random pop ups or stuff about this infection...and I never ever use Internet Explorer, I strictly use Mozilla Firefox. Now all of a sudden im getting pop ups on Mozilla as well?

So Im not sure if some a-hole, sat down at my computer and used internet explorer and did something and thats what cause this or what...but it's reaking havoc on my school work.

Ive downloaded AVG Antispyware and Spybot and neither of them have seemed to work for me. But then again, Im really not sure how to operate or get the best out of them ( i.e. do I allow or deny changes ?? )

Any help would be greatly appreciated guys...Thanks -
