:tazz: Norton AV stopped working last weekend after a regular update. Symantec told me to unistall and reinstall. Everytime I try to install NAV 2005 on P4 with XP I receive this error message: "RB_versionControl.BC731320_557D_4E8F_8CED_C...".
I'm guessing my 'puter is still seeing vestiges of the old programme, therefore disallowing the reinstall. If this is true, does anyone know how to remove all signs of the AV programme to sucessfully reinstall? Thank you for your help, Shirley

Try TuneUp Trial, run disc clean up then registry clean up, these should take care of invalid entries, you can also press optimize then run reg defrag, takes a few minutes and needs reboot.
