I can not update the Titanium 2005. It gives me the folowing notice: "cause of error: Could not replace the virus signature file."

After searching for help and reading the FAQ's, i've found this:

"Remember that if you connect to the Internet through a proxy, firewall </virus_info/glossary/> or router, ports 80 and 8003 must be open for the updates to be carried out correctly."

I have a router and 3 pc's connected to it. My OS: XP Home edition on 2 pc's and W2K on one and I use a LAN.

But how do i open the ports in question?

thanks for any help.

Nalini

80 is already open, or you wouldn't be here (80 is used by the browser).

If you did not block 8003 with a firewall, it is likely open (listening) as well. That said, what kind of router ?
