After reformatting the harddrive and reloaded Windows XP the screen resolution will not work. The slider doesn't move and everything looks like it's in safe mode (maybe even bigger) but I checked and it isn't in safe mode.

This computer was so full of malware because my grandkids use it a lot. I tried everything for days, HJT, spybot, etc and decided to just reformat and reload windows. It works fine now but cannot change resolution and everything is so big it barely fits on screen. I went into the display to change resolution and cannot change anything.

HELP I'm ready to throw it out the window . . . . . . .

Thank you

Wow that was fast but here's what I did. I went into start "run" typed in dxdiag to see what device I had and low and behold . . . . under name it was completely blank. Now I'm not computer minded and to say I'm getting frustrated well that's just an understatement.

The one good thing is that the computer is finally running right except for the "giant" and I mean "giant" fonts etc.

Next question, how di I get the graphics card/video card driver . . .

Thank you

http://www.majorgeek...wnload4181.html

Run everest then click on the Report menu. Select Report Wizard, then select Hardware Related pages. Create the report as a TXT file (if this option is available). When its finished compiling, save the report & then attach it with your next post.:.

I noticed it says Dell system model DE051 but that's not right. It's a Dell Dimension B110 that's what it says on the front of it.
