I might've accidentally pressed a key or something but while I was on myspace, the entire computer started looking like it was running on safe mode. is there any way to fix it?

Do you mean that all of the Icons got bigger?

It just looks like it lost color. Could it be the monitor?

It could be the monitor, but I would check the cable and power plug first.
Is this an older CRT monitor?
Some times the color will dim if there is not enough power with the CRT monitors.
