Hello,

I have comcast cable, bought a wireless modem router for the home, Motorola surfboard SBG900. I have an Airlink 101 universal wireless repeater (802.11 G) There are a total of 3 PC's in the home. Main PC and 2 wireless. One wireless (call it #2) is a Trendnet TEW-421PC, the other (call it #3) is Netgear WG311 v3. The trouble is the wireless connection for #3 has a great signal strength now with the repeater. BUT the status goes to "acquiring network address" and disconnects me for a few minutes. very annoying especially when I'm working.

I have read many threads and tried doing a lot of the fixing, I don't remember what all I did, but nothing seems to help with this dropping of the internet.

Could someone please help me and explain, in simple verbiage, how or what to fix. I am going crazy. I had this PC#3 connected as the main pc at one time but recently change it out to the wireless. The main PC now had to be set up so my son could have access to WOW without dropping out all the time. Now I am having the same problem. I'm not sure if #2 is doing the same thing. If you need more info please ask. thank you.
