Hello there,

I am upgrading my system on a budget, I have an Atlon64 3500+ with a MS 7093 mobo, 1gb Ram. I am looking to buy a new graphics card and maybe some ram. The cards i have been looking at are the BFG 9600GT OC and the XFX 9600GT XXX, any advice on this subject will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much

What is your budget for the RAM?
For the video card, I would go with the XFX 9600GT XXX because of XFX's great warranty.
They offer:
* Double Lifetime Warranties (this means you are covered a lifetime warranty and if you sell it, they are also covered a lifetime warranty, this card will have a higher resale value)
* Modder Friendly

BFG however also has a lifetime warranty but any modding you do will void the warranty. They do have good customer support as far as I've heard.
Also I've heard that BFG now offers a 100-day trade-in program, just like EVGA's 90-day step-up program.
