Greetings!
The other nite we had a lightning storm. Ever since - when I try to dial out - I get a message stating that there is no dial tone. If I use a phone on the line, it works. I checked out my modem thru ddevice manager properties - it says that it is enabled. I uninstalled & reinstalled it. Still the same problem. Any thoughts?

Try it in another pci slot but most likely it took a hit and needs to be replaced.
