First I just wanted to say this site and the people who help here are awesome. I had problems with my computer not too long ago and the issue was resolved. Thankfully :)

now my friend is having problems with her computer, and because she cant really do much with it right now, I am posting for her.

Oh boy.. where should we start. my friend has a laptop, its about a year old. her touch pad stopped working a month after she bought her laptop. ever since she's had to use a mouse. now the mouse doesn't want to work, she's tried 3 different ones and in all of her USB ports. shes wondering if its virus related as she does not have an a/v.

i had her check to see if it listed the mousepad in the device manager, the only thing she was saw for the mouse that was working at the time, (a USB) one.

I plan on sending her to the common adware/malware removers that are listed on this site but she cant even get to them because of the mouse issues.

what should she do?

I dont know her specs, Im waiting for her to come back from a reboot, as when she reboots, the mouse sometimes works for a few minutes.

thanks!
