Hi, new to this, so hopefully I won't be a pain :) Just purchased some speakers, becuase I thought my speakers blew out....well...it appears to be something much more. I am getting this reading "No audio device currently installed on my machine."

Can someone help me. I downloaded the software "Everst Home Edition and found that my motherboard info is HP Vectra VL400 SF.

I just need some sound!!!!!! If I have to download software, is there a "Free" software that would work?

Thanks for your assistance.

Type the computer's model number into the Support & Downloads section of the HP website. It'll give you some sound drivers to download.
