Okay, first things first;- my friend has a computer.

Anyway, we were just using as normal, but then we needed to go somewhere else, so we put it into hibernation mode. Now it won't start up. It just keeps going into the start windows option screen thing (where you have the option to select safe mode etc.)

...But it doesn't start up in whatever mode you select, it just keeps going back to that screen. We've tried disconnecting everything for the sake of it, that didn't work (obviously, otherwise i wouldn't be here).

Any ideas?

Cheers
Aden and friend

Let it start up normally then press F8 while it resumes. You can then choose to get rid of the restoration data and do a normal boot-up.
