I opened up MY Documents and some of the saved files (like Word, pictures, etc), the text is black and on others the test is blue (text for file name). Any idea why this is? Never saw it until a couple weeks ago.

Thanks.

Most likely, the blue colored text represents files that have been compressed by Windows.

You can disable this by Right-clicking the file or folder and selecting Properties. Then under the General tab select "Advanced." In the window that pops up, you can decide whether windows will "compress the contents to save disk space" or not. That choice is ultimately up to you.

Hope this helps.
