Hello Equity and Welcome to Geeks to Go!

I'm sure you its that obvious, you've been infected with multiple types of malware. Please stick with me until we get you all cleaned up... :)

If you have question with my instructions, don't hesitate to ask. Read this post completely before proceeding with the fix. :)

First,

Please download VundoFix.exe to your desktop
  • Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
  • Click the Scan for Vundo button.
  • Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
  • You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
  • Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
  • When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
  • Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log in a reply to this thread.
Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove. In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click the Scan for Vundo button" when VundoFix appears upon rebooting.

then

Please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) and save it to your Desktop.
  • Close all other windows before proceeding.

That's good to hear.
Now on to the next phase... :)

Please read this post completely before performing the fix. If you have question about my instructions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Let's begin... :)

First, a .DLL file is disrupting the LSP chain on your computer. We need to get rid of it.
  • Please download LSPFix from here.
  • Run the LSPFix.exe that you have just finished downloading.
  • Check the I know what I'm doing box.
  • In the Keep box you should see one or more instances of mdnsnsp.dll.
  • Select every instance of mdnsnsp.dll and move each one to the Remove box by clicking the >> button.
  • When you are done click Finish>>.

Next, please download DAFT and save it to your desktop:
  • Double-click the daft.exe icon.
  • Click on the Scan button.
  • Select everything it is displaying there
  • Click the Fix button.
  • Then rescan with DAFT again - it should say now that "All associations are OK"
  • Close DAFT if you receive that message. This means that it is fixed now.

Then, re-open HiJackThis and scan.
Check the boxes next to all the entries listed below.

Now close all windows other than HiJackThis, then click Fix Checked.
Close HiJackThis.

Finally,

  • Close all other windows before proceeding.
  • Double-click on dss.exe and follow the prompts.
  • When it has finished, dss will open two Notepads main.txt -- please copy (CTRL+A and then CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) the contents of main.txt in your next reply.

Thank you once again for you time and effort koko_crunch. I have followed the first step as instructed and only located these files in the keep box.

mswsock.dll Tcpip

winrnr.dll NTDS

VetRedir.dll (Protocol handler)

rsvpsp.dll (Prorocol handler)

================================================================================
==================
And their is only one mdnsNSP.dll allready in the remove file i've just assumed clicking finish was the direct path to take.

Ever other step seems successful hers is the next log as directed.

Not yet. We still have some more steps to perform. Please stick with me until we get you all cleanup. :)

next,

Please download ComboFix from Here or Here to your Desktop.

**Note: In the event you already have Combofix, this is a new version that I need you to download. It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**
  • Please, never rename Combofix unless instructed.
  • Close any open browsers.
  • Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.

    -----------------------------------------------------------

    • Very Important! Temporarily disable your anti-virus, script blocking and any anti-malware real-time protection before performing a scan. They can interfere with ComboFix or remove some of its embedded files which may cause "unpredictable results".
    • Click on this link to see a list of programs that should be disabled. The list is not all inclusive. If yours is not listed and you don't know how to disable it, please ask.

      -----------------------------------------------------------

    • Close any open browsers.
    • WARNING: Combofix will disconnect your machine from the Internet as soon as it starts
    • Please do not attempt to re-connect your machine back to the Internet until Combofix has completely finished.
    • If there is no internet connection after running Combofix, then restart your computer to restore back your connection.

    -----------------------------------------------------------

  • Double click on combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
  • When finished, it will produce a report for you.
  • Please post the "C:\ComboFix.txt" along with a new HijackThis log for further review.
**Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall**

We're nearly there...

  • Download RenV.exe by sUBs to your desktop
  • Double click on it to run it
  • It will search your system drive looking for any modified .exe file and will produce a log for you.
  • Please attach this report to your reply (Do not copy and paste)

WEird huh?!?! Let's use Combofix for this and see how it turns out.

Please read this post completely before proceeding with the fix.

Download ComboFix from Here or Here to your Desktop.

**Note: In the event you already have Combofix, this is a new version that I need you to download. It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**

Then,

1. Please open Notepad
  • Click Start , then Run
  • Type notepad .exe in the Run Box.

2. Now copy/paste the entire content of the codebox below into the Notepad window:

RENV::
C:\Program Files\Google\GoogleToolbarNotifier\1.2.1128.5462\GoogleToolbarNotifier .exe
C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_03\bin\jusched .exe
C:\Program Files\Lexmark 2400 Series\ezprint .exe
C:\Program Files\Lexmark 2400 Series\lxcrmon .exe
C:\Program Files\Lexmark Fax Solutions\fm3032 .exe
C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs .exe
C:\Program Files\Sygate\SPF\smc .exe

3. Save the above as CFScript.txt

4. Then drag the CFScript.txt into ComboFix.exe as depicted in the animation below. This will start ComboFix again.

Posted Image

5. After reboot, (in case it asks to reboot), please post the following reports/logs into your next reply:
  • Combofix.txt
  • A new HijackThis log.

I followed the steps as directed, disabled all active protection and killed all processes concerning antispy, firewall, and AV using process explorer. Here are the next logs as followed. :)
