After installing Spybot adware removal, my speakers do not work as they should. The volume contol is grayed out, it shows no device found. They still make a ping type sound but thats it. Can't listen to music, even when Windows starts up no sound. I have emailed Spybot a couple of time to help but no replies.

Ken Man, look in Device Manager and see if the sound card has a yellow mark by it. If so then you need to reinstall your sound driver as ForeverAZN said.

To check Device Manager, click on Start then Run, type devmgmt.msc and press Enter. Expand (click on the +) next to Sound, video and game controllers.
