Win XP reInstallation please help

Hi eveyone.

i am trying to reinstall win xp but i have a problem when trying to boot from CD so i got a boot dis

i do everythign right go to folder i386 but when i run winnt it gives me this error

Windows Setup
====================================


An internal Setup error has occured.

Could not find a place for swap file.

Setup cannot continue. Press ENTER to exit.



Please help me.

Maybe if you reword that and dont use dis i might b able to fix dat? ok? :) ALSO give some info on your computer, what harddrive size is, how many partitions, and some more please.

is dell dimention 4600. dont now about partitions 80G hard dis pentium 4.

does this help

I believe bootdisk.com has this make bootable windows 98 floppy and then
Using a W98 boot-floppy, delete and make that partition again, using FDISK. Make it active.
Then from that same floppy type in format c: /s. Then it should work.
Let XP reformat/convert in NTFS when it gets there during install.
be sure to boot to floppy
