Hopefully I am doing this right and im not just adding a useless thread.

I was reading through the existing thread about removing this "program" the first step is to download the uninstaller, which I have done, I have selected the "Run" option and nothing happened and I then selected the "Save" option and tried to open the uninstaller and nothing happens. I dont recieve error messages or anything. So im still stuck with this junk on my WORK computer. This is my last option before proceeding with re-imaging. Please HELP!!! THANK YOU! :)

Hello ekgraider and Welcome to Geeks to Go!

Sorry for the delay. been busy.
We very much would like to help you but first you need to provide us with a HijackThis log. This will aid us in determining what type of malware is on your system. :)

  • Save HJTInstall.exe to your desktop.
  • Doubleclick on the HJTInstall.exe icon on your desktop.
  • By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis .
  • Click on Install.
  • It will create a HijackThis icon on the desktop.
  • Once installed, it will launch Hijackthis.
  • Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad.
  • Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log.
  • Come back here to this thread and Paste the log in your next reply.
  • DO NOT have Hijackthis fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.
