this just started to happen today, when i play cod4 mp, everything works fine , until i aim, the screen turns blury and starts to turn white, very weird .

it willl turn all white, but i can still see compass and health bar clearly still and when i stop aiming the screen goes back to normal.

it only happens when i aim no other time, not with explosions.

i have PNY VCG86512GXPB-OC GeForce 8600GT 512MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16

here is a pic

it does that until the full screen is white.

Do you see any weird white/red/green dots during your gaming session? if yes, then it's what gamers called "artifacts"..

One way to make sure your graphic card is artifact free or not, you can download ATiTool, install it and run Scan for Artifact.. There are other several tools that may be suggest to you by others.. you can use those as well..
