Hello Everyone,
My old pc broke down and i bought a new pc.
So i tried to connect my old ATA HDD to my new pc but i can't find a cord that would connect my ATA HDD to my new pc motherboard, i only found the cord that connects my old ATA HDD to the PSU of my new pc.

so how can i connect my ATA HDD drive to my new pc which only accepts SATA HDD (i think it only accepts SATA, not sure)?

Make = Brand.

Unfortunately your board has no facility to connect your old ATA hard drive.
The only way you're going to be able to get data off the drive now is to house it in what's called an external hard drive caddy/enclosure. This then plugs into a USB port on the back of the computer.

When you buy an ATA/PATA 3.5" external caddy/enclosure, inside it will be a small cable that you connect up and also the power lead.
The caddy then just plugs into the mains and also a USB port. The fact that the drive is ATA becomes irrelevant at this point.
