I originally went online to find out about it taking 20-40 seconds to close/copy/paste etc. within folders. Everything pointed me to registry problems, so I picked a registry program, Netcom3, to scan and repair. Big mistake! I ended up with problems with startup/shut down, other errors popping up with several other functions, and I can no longer open add/remove programs, "An unexpected error occurred..Object doesn't support this property or method.. res://sp3res.dll/defalt.hta line 82". I tried working with Netcom3 support, but they were less than helpful! I located HijackThis and you guys, followed the Preparation Initial steps, and here I am. These steps found and corrected many issues. However, I still have slow file/folder issues and the Add/Remove Program problem. I've attached log files from the programs recommended in your initial steps. Please help! Thank you.
