My system restore is not working. It won't make restore points and when I click to restore to points I have it won't do it. I don't get any error--it just won't do it. I checked to see if it was disabled and it's not. I also checked under services.msc and it was started and automatic. How do I fix it?

Turn off system restore by right clicking on My Computer and go to Properties->System Restore and check the box for Turn off System Restore. Click Apply and then OK. Go back and uncheck that same box to enable it back. Create a test restore point and see if you can go back now.

Okay I did and it appears to be working. I'll just have to see if it will continue to create restore points.
