I play a game called Counter Strike Source, and lately I've been getting error messages when I download and install maps.

The message I get is:

CModelLoader::Map_IsValid: Map 'finc_the_range' bsp version 20, expecting 19
map load failed: finc_the_range not found or invalid

Just by reading it, I notice that the map has a .BSP version of 20, and my computer/CSS needs version 19 to run the map.

I was just wondering and hoping if there's a way to change the .BSP version, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Try updating the game through Steam.

Well the thing is my version is a bootlegged version, and yes, I am aware that that is affecting it somehow (or completely) but I was just wondering if, like I said, it was possible to change the .BSP version from 20 to 19. (Some code or hex or whatever)

you expect help with a bootleg version? Get real, and go buy the game. It's cheap enough. It's also against board policy to assist with any hacks, warez, or otherwise illegally obtained software.
