I have installed windows xp pro, and in the device manager, I have a yellow question mark on the following---Multimedia Audio Controler, and Unknown Device.
And I have fixed thse problems many times on many other computers, but this time I cant. I have downloaded the drivers from HP via hp chat support, and they want fix the problem. Also I dont have any yellow marks on the following but it says no drivers are installed.-----Under System Devices...ATI SMBus,Direct memory acess controller,Motherboard resorces, Prorammable interrupt controller, System board, System speaker, System Timer,

Did you install the chipset drivers?

What's the model and model number of your HP?

we got it fixed today, thanks, updated south bridge drivers, I think it was, I still have the one error, unknown device, model is m7300e, running xp pro. thanks
