I'm not sure how I got this thing, but it appeared first this morning. AVG notices it and moves it to the virus vault, but it reappears with an AVG warning about every minute. I have XP. I ran Ad-Aware which didn't help. The infected file is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adsl Software Limited\Malwarrior 2008\Mlwarrior.exe In the AVG warning screen, it also reads "Virus Found: Downloader.agent"

I keep getting pop-ups regarding available downloads for virus an spyware removal, but fear these are actually part of the virus and could cause more problems. I suspect this hasn't made its way around a whole lot yet as I couldn't find any instructions on the web for removal of the 2008 version.

Any ideas?

• Enter your e-mail address and click send
  
• Select either Home User or Company
  
• Click the big Scan Now button
  
• If it wants to install an ActiveX component allow it
  
• It will start downloading the files it requires for the scan (Note: It may take a couple of minutes)
  
• When download is complete, click on My Computer to start the scan
  
• When the scan completes, if anything malicious is detected, click the See Report button, then Save Report and save it to a convenient location. Post the contents of the ActiveScan report

I'm still getting a virus warning from AVG. The file is a trojan in System Volume Information. There doesn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary, but I'm wondering if something may change. Any idea what to try?
