Whenever I load Zone Alarm, either at startup or manually, it hangs for 5-7 mins. I tried to know wht's going on by raising task manager's priority to 'Real time' and then loading zone alarm. I found that vsmon.exe was hogging almost 100% of the cpu during start up. I am using cable internet having modem of Scientific Atlanta.
I have WinXP running on a P-4 Prescott 2.4Ghz, 512 DDR ram.
One more problem, i frequently encounter blue screen of death with msg "Stop 0x0000000A or IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" and the name of vsdatant.sys somewhere in the blue screen. The problem occurs randomly, but most often when I load Yahoo messenger when Zone Alarm is running.
All these problems are related to ZA. so can anyone help me!!! I am having exams and have to waste a lot of time due to this problem.
