[uptown hunk]

Here we go again...One fine morning i installed this registry cleaning software and did a scan with it and soon after that all [bleep] broke loose...like from the next time i restarted my pc became really really slow....it would take an unusually long time to startup and when it finally does only the desktop wallpaper is there (like no icons), again after a while the icons appear. When i double-click a program shortcut to open it ahain it reacts after sometime...same is the case with the My Computer icon (which most shows not responding). the task manager is something i can use as before and the internet browsers ( ignoring the fact that the browser window also takes a while to open but not the pages...like no problem with internet speed or anything as such). Now i use Kaspersky Internet Security,uniblue's spy eraser and Windows Defender for pc security apart from that i also use a couple of other registry repair tools n performance tools...I ran a scan with KIS and deleted the detected ones (which included a couple or so from system restore that means the registry cleaning software i was talking abt is the culprit- i uninstalled it after that...Plzz check out my log and suggest me ways to get back my pc to its usual state.....

I want you to show hidden files. There are instructions HERE to help you do this.
You should have Administrator rights to perform the fixes. Some of the instructions I give may need to be printed or saved for reference during the fix. Some of the fix will be done in Safe Mode so you will be unable to access this thread at that time.
Please dont use any of the tools without specific instructions. Some of them are dangerous (and could leave your computer in worse condition that it is when infected) if used incorrectly.
These instructions should be read first, then followed. If you do not understand something, don't be afraid to ask, or see if I'm on chat.
