On my PC, Mcafee always detects a trojan -- Generic!atr, located at c:autorun.inf. when I plugin a USB key or put a CD into CD--ROM
And the status shows "deleted". Then I lost all my network share drives to our file & print servers.

After some troubleshooting, I found the issue is caused by a file called wmiprvse.exe
But I just can't get rid of it.

If I run a search on my PC for wmiprvse, I always get a file called WMIPRVSE.EXE-28F301A9.pf which locates under C:windows\preftech.
Tried to deleted this file, but it's there again after I reboot my PC.

Ran HiJackThis and I found:

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [winmgmt] C:\WINDOWS\system32\wmiprvse.exe

Tried to deleted, but it comes back itself after I reboot my PC.
Ran Mcafee with latest virus definition file
This is absolutely driving me nuts.....
Can somebody please help me on this?

Thank you very much!!!!!!!!!

I have attached HiJackThis Log below.
