Hi there, and welcome! My name is Kat, and I'll be helping you to get your computer fixed up and on the run again! You may want to print these instructions or save them to a NotePad file on your desktop to make it easier for you to follow each step in order!

1. Uninstall the Begin2Search Toolbar by running the uninstall tool here: http://www.begin2sea...m/uninstall.exe

2. Please re-open HiJackThis and scan. Check the boxes next to all the entries listed below.

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {549B5CA7-4A86-11D7-A4DF-000874180BB3} - (no file)
O2 - BHO: ohb - {999A06FF-10EF-4A29-8640-69E99882C26B} - C:\WINNT\system32\nsd93.dll

Now close all windows other than HiJackThis, then click Fix Checked. Reboot into safe mode.

Restart your computer and as soon as it starts booting up again continuously tap F8. A menu should come up where you will be given the option to enter Safe Mode.

Please remove these entries from Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel(if present):

ViewPoint
Begin2Search

Please note any other programs that you dont recognize in that list in your next response

Please delete these folders using Windows Explorer(if present):
C:\Program Files\Viewpoint

Please delete these files using Windows Explorer(if present):
C:\WINNT\system32\nsd93.dll
C:\WINNT\System32\aaidd.dll
After that, Reboot.

3. Reboot and post a fresh HijackThis log!

Here's what came up after I followed the instructions. I couldn't find some of the files you mentioned. Specifically:
C:\WINNT\System32\nsd93.dll
C:\WINNT\System32\aaidd.dll

Hello Kat asked me to take over as she is ill and she did not want you to wait.

1. Open Hijackthis and click scan. Then tick and fix the following in Hijackthis with all windows closed except Hijackthis.

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page_bak = about:blank
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FDD3B846-8D59-4ffb-8758-209B6AD74ACC} - (no file)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ap9h4qmo] C:\WINNT\system32\ap9h4qmo.exe

2. Reboot and delete the files.

C:\WINNT\system32\ap9h4qmo.exe

3. Then post a new Hijackthis log here in a reply.
