For some time my computer has been very slow, and the task manager shows that CPU usage is at or near 100%. I suspected malware, and have run any number of scans, posting the results to the malware forum. Malware turned out not to be the problem, though. Any suggestions?

The highest amount--about 50%--is just described as SYSTEM. At other times I've noticed that svchost.exe is using a lot of CPU.

Ok, download this and check all.
Or select all I believe it says.

After you download it unzip it to a place you will find it.
There is no install. it is the program.
Then select all and run.

See if that helps.

Has this always been a problem or just recently?
