Here is my log, I think I have the Smitfraud, Smitfraud, or some other form of malware.
Please help with what I can do to help get rid of it. I've tried Smitrem and Smitfraud fix and those didn't seem to help.
Thanks!

Hello again muzicfreak03,

You have a number of infections. We will need to take a multi level approach to solving your problems.

Before we do anything we should start from a sound base. :)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

  • Please read this post completely, it may make it easier if you copy and paste this post to a new text document or print it for reference later. This will especially help you when your computer is off line. You may want to do this following each post for each set of instructions.
  • It is important you carry out instructions exactly in the order they appear. If however for some reason you cannot carry out one of them, please move on to the next and let me know in the next post what happened.
  • As we will likely be using Notepad please check that word wrap is turned off before you start. To do this, open Notepad, choose Format, then make sure Word Wrap is Un-checked. Word Wrap makes reading your log difficult and may prevent fixes using Notepad from working.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Next, it might speed things up to ensure now that we can view hidden files and folders;

* Click Start
* Open My Computer.
* Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
* Select the View tab.
* Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
* Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
* Uncheck the Hide extensions for known file types option.
* Click Yes to confirm.
* Click OK.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Next - Very important

Your computer has been accessed. All your passwords and sensitive security information have been looked at from an outside source. If your computer is/was used for online banking, has credit card information or other sensitive data on it, you should immediately disconnect from the Internet until your system is cleaned. All passwords should be changed immediately to include those used for banking, email, eBay, paypal and online forums. You should consider them to be compromised. They should be changed by using a different computer and not the infected one. If not, an attacker may get the new passwords and transaction information. Banking and credit card institutions should be notified of the possible security breach.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now lets get down to it.

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
If you use Firefox browserClick Firefox at the top and choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
If you use Opera browserClick Opera at the top and choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.
For Technical Support, double-click the e-mail address located at the bottom of each menu.

-----Step 2-----

Please visit this webpage for instructions for downloading and running ComboFix:

http://www.bleepingc...to-use-combofix.

Included in the tutorial are instructions for the installation of a recovery program if you don't already have it - Windows XP Recovery Console.

Once you have completed installation of the the Recovery Console and run ComboFix please post the log back here along with a new HijackThis log.
