Alight this problems happens randomly, when I'm doing work or other stuff on the computer... when suddenly the computer screen turns into a screen of vertical lines with colors of black and grey. Before it was a blue and a lite blue. I was wondering why does it do this?

Computer Specs:
Acer Aspire 5100
Microsoft Windows XP SP2
AMD Turion™ 64 x2 Mobile
797 MHz, 2.25 GB of RAM
27.8 GB out of 53.6 GB memory on NTFS (Drive C:) Was FAT32 before.
45.9 GB out of 54.1 GB memory on NTFS (Drive D:) Was formally FAT32

Looks almost like this..
