Hello guys, good morning, i need your assistant


Audio device on high definition audio (DRIVER NEEDED) FOR PAVILION DV6717EL

I downgraded from vista to xpsp2, i have all the other drivers except audio

I have downloaded all manners of realtec drivers and they are not working.


Help will be appreciated, thanks in advance

That laptop was made specifically for Vista, and therefore there are no XP drivers for it. You can try contacting HP and see if they have anything, but that is about all you can do. Wish I had better news, but I think you are just best staying with Vista. It's a great operating system once you get used to it. Anything that is new is always awkward in the beginning until you get used to it and familiar with how it works.

If you are having any problems with the laptop while running Vista, then post a topic in the Vista Forums and someone will be able to help you.
