Ugh... I'm having problems... I started having problems a few days ago, and it started with the game F.E.A.R. not working, then the task manager wouldn't even open, and then this... I'm not getting BSODs, sometimes when I click the "Turn Off Computer" button, it gives me the "Log Off" screen, everything is slow, and everything seems messed up. In the past hour, I'd bet I've installed over 1GB of anti-virus and anti-spyware stuff from guides around the internet. But the weirdest thing of all is that no anti-virus program says anything is wrong. EDIT: Nope. I fixed Malwarebytes', and it told me that I have Malware.trace. By the way, in addition to all the programs on the "You Must Read This Before Posting A Hijackthis Log" thread, I've also run Spybot, AVG, and a bunch more programs, as recommended by another site. Hmm... I've got no idea what DsK344i.exe is, but I looked at the properties, and it's a self extracting archive, which leads me to believe that it's trouble. And I've rebooted multiple times since I got this thing. The good news, however is that I found a found that same program last night and ran it . The bad news is that I didn't save a log because the program hung for about 15 minutes on the log part. I don't assume that I can run it again and get a log, so what next? Right now I'm looking at the ComboFix guide that you posted, and apparently I should have installed Windows Recovery Console in case something goes wrong. The guide I saw only said to run the program. Should I install that now?

Delete the DsK344i.exe file. Then install the Windows Recovery Console. Skip the part with the CD. Use the download utility instead. Just drag and drop it into ComboFix. Post the log here when ready.
