Does it help any to run a software firewall behind a hardware firewall on a router????? I am going to upgrade my AV software and I know that software firewalls can hog memory space. Thanks for the help.

Depends... are you trying to block any other users with in your network from accessing your pc?

I guess being ultra secure is good providing that you have your rules setup correctly within the software firewall.
