Windows installer pops up when rt. click and trying to start ms office

HELP! Whenever I right click or try to open various office programs, including word, the following happens: the windows installer box pops up saying "Please wait while windows configures office xp pro with front page". then it says to insert the dis mic off xp pro with front page disc and click ok. when i press cancel, i get the error 1706 message. then a problem with shortcut box pops up and it says fatal error during installation. I do not have the disc they are asking for. Please help me fix this!

I am afraid that you must have the Office CD. Either yours or a borrowed one of the same version. When you get one we can guide you how to repair Office.
