I'm on a strict budget, and wanted to know if there was anything between the 8600GT & the 8800GT nVidia cards? I'm not a hard core gamer,
but don't want to get the 8600GT, then kick myself as it can't play a decent framerate game now and then. I have always had Nvidia cards for
as long as I can remember.....so not to familar with the Radeon video card series......

I would want to play game demos such as BioShock, and the need for speed series...Crysis looks interesting, but I don't need to build a computer
just to play 1 game......

I keep going back and forth between the Intel 3.0 & AMD 3.0 chips, with the Intel setup about 100$ more than the AMD....I'm not too worried about overclocking at this stage, a 3.0Ghz dual core should run just about anything, I would think.....

for about 2-3 weeks, I have been just going back and forth on systems from pricewatch http://www.pricewatc..._systems_no_os/

Hi,

Just wondering, what are the prices in your area? I'm not sure where your from lol. Because in Canada the 8800Gt is being price slashed here and there which is why I want to see if this is true in any stores near you.
