Hi!
Once again I am coming to this site for help with a problem I hope there is an easy solution! My fiance bought a new PC and I was trying to install it for her she has Time Warner "Triple Play" which include cable tv, telephone and internet service this isn't the problem, the problem is that one of her brother's set up the account for her and he doesn't remember the master screen name nor the pass word he used. I was having problems with the Pc getting an internet connection so I called AOL which is the internet provider but they won't help me because I don't have the master screen name nor password I know the problem isn't with the connection (cable Modem) because when I plug my laptop into I can connect to the internet. But when I try to connect to aol with her PC I get and error code from AOL saying no network connection 02-04009. Can someone help me any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Well what account do you mean he set up? The internet one or windows? If the internet one you will have to work that out with the company... IF they won't talk to you without the password and he can't remember then.... mmm cancel the service and resign up to get a new master account.... Don't they have a procedure to recover that stuff if you forgot.... many companies do...

If you forgot passwords for windows you are probably out of luck.... if it is vista and you didn't create a password recovery disk you are sol and need to reinstall. If it's xp you might be able to recover but I don't believe anyone here can help you...
