Why do I have rows of dots when I play video clip?

When I play video clips I get these vertical rows of dots/lines throughout the video clip I tried to update my video drivers still the same.

I believe that is a codec problem. You can download something called GSpot, it's free and works very well, to tell you what video and audio codecs you need and what the file properties are.
