Do you recommend that I run HJT or MBAM on my mainframe?

And secondly, are all of those software applications necessary or can I just run one or two. I have automatic updates from microsoft and really don't know how this happened on my laptop.

Not quite sure what you mean by mainframe??? Do you have a server? Or do you mean your desktop?

Well it's certainly up to you. The last 3 I noted SpywareBlaster, SpywareGuard, and ZonedOut are all mainly "blocking" programs and use little to no system resources. Read up on them at the links I provided. Spybot S&D and Adaware are not what they once were, but are still good for occasional checks and scans...your choice.

Nope don't think it's infected but thought it might be a good idea.

Again, I want to truely thank you for all your support.

And I also love where you live, Atlanta was around 97 today.
