Problem downloading zip files

When I try to download a zip file the screen flashes, I cannot log off and have to switch it off. Any ideas why?

I just replied to your other plea for help..

I seem to have some missing dll's and other problems. I mess around with things trying to clean up to make the computer run more efficiently and end up with more mess! My daughter has threatened to ban me from using it!

she doesn't have ban you..just set you up a limited account to keep you from doing anymore damage..
keep all your problems in ONE thread..that way whoever is helping you is aware of all the problems your having
