Wireless Router CD Crashes computer

So i brought this wireless router, when i place the cd in to the drive for it install. I get up to the 4th step and the computer crashes.
It is a Linksys Cisco wireless router.
Im running XP.

Anyone know a way to get around this or fix the problem?

Throw the CD away, you don't need it.
Using instructions in the Quick Start/Setup guide, log directly into the router and make changes from there.
