Hey guys,

I use Fireworks for my site, but I'm teaching a friend of mine how to do his own web updates (so I can get out of doing them), and I need a simple, free program that manipulates images for web design. Just something that adjusts image sizes, maybe some cropping, light color changes, nothing as elaborate as photoshop or fireworks.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the help!

The nicest and most user friendly one I've found that's even free is GetPaint.net. I use this many times instead of opening Photoshop. For a nice free online Photoshop-like Graphics Editor, use http://www.blibs.com/editor/. Has lots of nice effects and animation tools... all free!
