Welcome Patricia <_<

Try removing iTunes using add/remove programs in your control panel (also make sure Kazaa is gone). Then reboot your PC and reinstall iTunes.

Kazaa is full of spyware, and it's likely you still have some on your system. It might also be a good idea to take a closer look at what is running on your PC. We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) and post a log back here with the results.

Click the HijackThis Guide in my signature, download it and follow the instructions in the guide.

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.

I hope that I can trust this response. thank you. I will attempt these instructions.
I saw the spyware crap and Kazaa is still there. Here I go, can you walk me through this. I actually have spent so much time in front of the screen and so adamant about the resolve that I think I am making it worse. What do you do when you want the music?

Many thanks for the assistance. Seems I am on the right track. However, i think I removed Kazaa yet still see the icon to the lower left.
Have reinstalled Itunes to the PC now how do I download and burn.
Thanks again!

Sometimes the user is required to delete shortcut icons. Like admin said, you probably have spyware on your system because of Kazaa. Let us take a closer look at what is running on your PC. We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) and post a log back here with the results.

Click the HijackThis Guide in my signature, download it and follow the instructions in the guide.
