I was trying to help a friend who WAS running Win98 on her PC but the Motherboard stopped reading the HD. So I got the data off the HD to keep safe while I had a friend put together a "new" (new being a relative term) PC. We tried Win98 to make sure we could re-install her Minolta Dimage Scan Dual II. It would NOT install and so I fixed her up with another "new" PC running XP. Again we can't get the Minolta Dimage Scan Dual II to install.

I'm not sure why or what I can do to help her .... can anyone help me with this problem? Or help her?
