driver screwed up - Need help

Hi

Beyond my no sound problem, not being able to play a DVD; I can't print either. Seems that my drivers are screwed up even though device manager says they' re ok.

Could someone please help

Have you installed anything recently such as hardware or software?

Have you tried a system restore?

I have not installed any software and I've tried a system restore that did not change anything. I've even changed the drivers from my original CD but nothing seems to change. tHE ONLY THING IS THAT WHEN i DO A SYSTEM RESTORE FROM A PAST DATE IT TELLS ME AT LGIN THAT i'VE HAD A AUDIO SYSTEM CONNECTION EVENT
