I'm trying to install a fresh installation of Windows xp onto a Toshiba Satellite P25. When I boot from the XP disc it boots into windows instead of the installation setup screen. How do I change this?

Howdy and welcome to GTG:

Are you using the Toshiba Recovery cd's, an install cd from a different computer, a retail XP cd or one you downloaded?

Hello,

It sounds as if your boot order is not set to boot from the Optical Drive first. I would check your BIOS setting to make sure that the CD/DVD Drive is above the Hard Drive in the boot order.

Cheers,
Mak
