hey all
how are you
i guess my pc is affected again its slower and when i type in google it gives me a 403 foridden and saying one long description sorry your pc might be affected or network problems i tried to clean the cookies same thing other sites work fine only this one

my second problem is megaupload toolbar before it use to appear in both ie and mozilla in ie i went view tools it was there but i cant click on it , its like hidden or something

third problem when using flash devices or dvd auto play use to appear when i load something from usb or dvd now that function doesnt appear i have to go my computers and click on them

Your log are not showing big problems, but let's have a deeper look at your system to see if there are hidden infections.

PS. In the future, if you're wondering why I am taking so long to respond, feel free to give me a PM and I'll explain it to you.

Before you do anything, I would like to ask if Qwest Communications Corporation is your Internet Service Provider (ISP)?

Please follow my instructions in the order they were given, and print out a copy of it as you may not be able to access the forums during the fix.

1) Update Java

• Download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 6.
• Scroll down to where it says "The J2SE Runtime Environment (JRE) allows end-users to run Java applications".
• Click the "Download" button to the right.
• Select your Platform and check the box that says: "I agree to the Java SE Runtime Environment 6 License Agreement.".
• Click on Continue.
• Click on the link to download Windows Offline Installation (jre-6u6-windows-i586-p.exe) and save it to your desktop. Do NOT use the Sun Download Manager..
• Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.
• Go to Start > Control Panel, double-click on Add/Remove programs and remove all older versions of Java.
• Check any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name.
• Click the Remove or Change/Remove button.
• Repeat as many times as necessary to remove each Java version.
• Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.
• Then from your desktop double-click on the download to install the newest version.

2) Download and run ATF cleaner

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
This program is for Windows 98/ME/2K/XP and VistaDouble-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
If you use Firefox browserClick Firefox at the top and choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
If you use Opera browserClick Opera at the top and choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.
For Technical Support, double-click the e-mail address located at the bottom of each menu.

3) Remove entries with HijackThis

Please re-open HijackThis and Do a System Scan only. Put a check next to the entries below.

Now close all windows other than HijackThis, then click Fix Checked. Close HijackThis.

4) Run Deckard's System Scanner (DSS)

Please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) and save it to your Desktop.

• Close all other windows before proceeding.
• Double-click on dss.exe and follow the prompts.
• When it has finished, dss will open two Notepads main.txt and extra.txt -- please copy (CTRL+A and then CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your next reply.

Your logs seem ok to me, we'll run some scans to see if they can remove anything.

Btw, are you still having the problems you've said earlier on in your first post?

1) Run Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here or Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

• Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
• If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
• Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
• The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
• Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
• When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
• The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
• Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply.

Extra Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove,you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts,click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer,please do so immediatly.

2) Run an online scan with Kaspersky

Please do an online scan with Kaspersky WebScanner

Click on Accept

You will be promted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.

• The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
• Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
  
• Now click on Scan Settings
• In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
  • Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
  Extended (if available otherwise Standard)
  
  • Scan Options:
  Scan Archives
  Scan Mail Bases
• Click OK
• Now under select a target to scan:Select My Computer
• This will program will start and scan your system.
• The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
• Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
  
  • Now click on the Save as Text button:
• Save the file to your desktop.
• Copy and paste that information in your next post.

Hey shadow17,

From what I see, your problem is more of a technical one. Your logs are all clean, so it's not likely that a malware caused your problem.

Before we close this, please do the following:

1) Run OTCleanIt to remove tools

• Please download OTCleanIT by OldTimer and save it to your desktop.
• Double click on OTCleanIt.exe and click on the CleanUp! button.
• It will remove certain tools that we have used during the fixing
• You will be asked to reboot the machine to finish the Cleanup process. If you are asked to reboot the machine choose Yes.

2) Reset your System Restore

• Right click on "My Computer" and click on "Properties".
• Go to "System Restore" tab and check "Turn off System Restore on all drives". Click "Yes" at the prompt. (Wait a while for it to finish)
• Then UNcheck "Turn off System Restore on all drives". Click "Yes" at the prompt. (Wait a while for it to finish)
• Your System Restore is now turned on.

Now that you are clean, to help protect your computer in the future I recommend that you get the following free programs:

• SpywareBlaster to help prevent spyware from installing in the first place.
• IESpy-Ad to block access to malicious websites so you cannot be redirected to them from an infected site or email.

You should also have a good firewall. Here are 3 free ones available for personal use:

• Sygate Personal Firewall
• Kerio Personal Firewall
• ZoneAlarm

It is critical to have only ONE firewall and anti virus to protect your system and to keep them updated.

To keep your operating system up to date visit

• Microsoft Windows Update

monthly. And to keep your system clean run these free malware scanners

• AdAware SE Personal
• Spybot Search & Destroy

weekly, and be aware of what emails you open and websites you visit.
